Job Description:
The Principal System Engineer (PSE) is the technical business partner of the account manager/ sales representative. The primary focus on this position should be on strategic accounts and other problematic deals involving significant revenue, complex sales cycles, large ROIs and/or strong competition.
Objectives:
- The PSE assures facilitating Corticon's business and revenue goals by providing consistent, high quality, technical support and assistance to the sales team through all aspects of the sales cycle.
- The PSE assures facilitating the qualification of prospects and business strategies by giving support and input to the sales team.
- The PSE assures the technical leading and mentoring of the (Senior) System Engineers.
Essential Job Functions
- Work with sales representative to establish in depth specific account plans and strategies
- Analyze sales prospects' requirements and propose the best possible Corticon solution
- Create and deliver demonstrations, presentations, prototypes, POC/POV and map features/benefits of Corticon to prospects' specific needs
- Provide on-going technical and business value support to well-qualified prospects conducting evaluations (this may include training, programming of examples, third-party software integration, trouble-shooting, best-practices consulting)
- Respond to the technical and business sections of RFI/RFPs
- Provide product and solution feedback from customers
- Communicate competitive intelligence from the field
- Exchange best practices and share knowledge within SE Community
- Keep up to date with any new Corticon solutions and relevant technical and business knowledge

Inside Sales Representative
Position Overview
Corticon is seeking an Inside Sales Representative who can quickly learn the nuances of the Business Rules software market and Corticon's unique value proposition. An Inside Sales Representative for Corticon Technologies is responsible for generating leads and qualified sales opportunities for the sales team. This individual uses cold-calling and other prospecting techniques to engage high-level IT executives and navigate the prospective organizations of target accounts to generate interest in Corticon Technologies' business Rules solutions.. You will work closely with field sales and marketing to develop and follow-up on lead generation campaigns to acquire leads and convert them into qualified sales opportunities. Your contributions will fuel the sales pipeline and the next stage of Corticon's rapid growth.
Responsibilities
- Uncover new opportunities through proactive cold calling and prospecting to target account lists
- Follow-up and qualify leads generated from sales, customer and partner referrals and marketing programs like website marketing and direct marketing campaigns
- Set up meetings and generate qualified opportunities for the sales team

Position Overview
Corticon is creating a position for State Government Inside Sales Representative (SG-ISR) who can quickly learn the nuances of the States Government (SG) market for Business Rules software, and how to leverage Corticon's unique value proposition for specific agency solutions. The SG-ISR will be responsible for validating agency contacts and setting up introductory calls and meetings for the SG sales team. This individual uses data supplied from the Input forum to contact agency program and IT executives, and to generate interest in Corticon Technologies' Business Rules solutions. You will work closely with SG sales staff to follow-up on outreach campaigns to validate appropriate contacts and convert them into introductory calls and/or meetings as instructed. Your contributions will fuel the sales pipeline and the next stage of Corticon's rapid growth into the State Government arena.
Responsibilities
- Call into lists provided from Input forum to validate contacts and hierarchies across agencies
- Validate and document current titles, emails, and direct phone numbers
- Probe for and document current understanding of Business Rules technologies, and distribute agency specific content around Corticon's unique capabilities and past performance
- Generate interest and rapport within agencies to allow visibility to pending projects, whether those be publicly posted or ad hoc acquisitions
- Set up intro calls or meetings as instructed and schedule demos as requested by agency, or as instructed by SG sales staff

Responsibilities
As a senior member of the Professional Services team in a small, rapidly growing software company, the Field Architect manages and supports a number of important activities and performs a variety of roles. These include:
- acting as leader for all Corticon-related aspects of a client project, including relationship management and delivery responsibilities
- providing design and architectural recommendations to client project teams, maximizing and optimizing efficiency, effectiveness, and value of Corticon software products

Senior Engineer

Position Summary
Primary engineer for the Corticon Dialogs product. Responsible for overall architecture and development of the Dialogs product line. As a member of the Corticon Engineering team, the individual in this position will oversee the evolution of Corticon's leading-edge intelligent UI tool. Working closely with Product management, the Dialogs Engineer will help to establish the strategic direction of the product. In addition, this position will help to advance the overall web UI standards for Corticon products.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of Dialogs product engineering, including architecture, database design, API services, BRMS integration, cross-platform interoperability, data integrity, performance and scalability.
Create an extensible platform to facilitate a robust product roadmap through the use of and adherence to accepted design patterns
Extend current product capabilities to enable the creation of Rich Internet Applications with Dialogs
Work with outsourced development team to ensure orderly transition of product assets
Assess product needs and opportunities associated with emerging technologies and standards
Recommend and implement Dialogs' next-generation architecture and feature set
Qualifications

Looking for a senior Java engineer to join our engineering team to help build core Corticon products. Corticon is looking for a superstar developer who enjoys working on a highly skilled agile development team. Even though each developer has their own area of specialization, everyone is expected to wear multiple hats and be cross-trained on all aspects of the product. This may involve client side development in Eclipse, server-side work with Java enterprise technologies, web-UI work, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities
Development, optimization, and maintenance of Corticon core products. Also effective partnership and interaction with Corticon QA team is required. You are expected to build high quality, high performance, and highly scalable code based on solid design. You are expected to thoroughly unit test your code and to assist QA in building test suites.
We are looking for a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Our developers don't just follow directions. They own their products and are proactive in anticipating problems, improving product design, and providing feedback to product management to improve general product features/functionality/usability.
Qualifications
10+ years relevant Java development experience, with at least 5 years of Eclipse applications development experience. Web-based application development skills a big plus. Server-side Java application development skills also a big plus. Desired skills include:

Position Summary
Looking for a senior Quality Assurance engineer to join our engineering team to help test core Corticon products which include a rich client application, a highly scalable server, web based tooling. Primary responsibility will be the quality assurance of the Dialogs product line which a rich internet web-based platform.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of Dialogs quality testing. You are expected to participate in requirements and design reviews, test suite design, bug reporting/tracking/resolution, manual and automated testing. We are also looking for team members who consider Quality Assurance to be their career path as opposed to it being a stepping stone towards a development job.
