SAN MATEO, CALIF., MAY 11, 2001Corticon Technologies, the innovator of a new class of enterprise softwareKnowledge Automation Softwaretoday announced the official opening of its new offices in San Mateo and the expansion of its Culver City, Calif. engineering center. The new headquarters and bigger engineering center will significantly raise Corticon's software development, research and sales capabilities.
"During a period when other companies are decelerating and cutting back, Corticon continues to gain momentum and traction," said Corticon Technologies President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Mark Allen. "In order to gain market acceptance, mature our products and grow our earnings, we are currently focused on direct and channel sales within the financial services industry. But, Knowledge Automation Software is invaluable to any business that is dependant on human knowledge for success and profit. With an eye toward aggressively growing the company we are making calculated decisions and taking advantage of market opportunities that come our way."
Corticon moved from 1700 square feet of office space, located on an industrial strip of East Bayshore Road off highway 101, to a 4250 square foot, fully furnished suite, conveniently located near clients, hotels and restaurants. A local real estate brokerage firm, Cornish & Carey Commercial, helped Corticon cement the deal and negotiate for a lower sublease fee, saving Corticon approximately $72,000 per year, as compared to the prior office space lease.
Corticon's new headquarters is located at 3130 La Selva Street, Suite 100, San Mateo, Calif., 94403. The company's new phone and fax numbers are 650.212.2424 and 650.212.2727, respectively. The Corticon engineering center remains at 200 Corporate Point in Culver City.
