Integration of ARIS Process Platform and Corticon Business Rules Management Solution
BERWYN, PA and SAN MATEO, CA., May 16, 2005—IDS Scheer, the leading provider of business process excellence services and tools, today announced at SAPPHIRE '05, an alliance with Corticon Technologies, a leading provider of business rules management systems. Through this relationship, Corticon Technologies and IDS Scheer have integrated the market-leading ARIS Process Platform with Corticon's Business Rules Modeling Studio, a key component of Corticon Business Rules Management. The integrated products are available immediately from both Corticon and IDS Scheer.

The ARIS Process Platform enables organizations to design, implement and execute business processes. Similarly, Corticon Business Rules Management enables organizations to design, implement and execute the control points within business processes, where business policy is applied. Together, the products provide the ability to completely define both processes and policies as business-friendly models that can be analyzed, tested and automated.
Under this collaboration, ARIS Process Platform users will be able to simplify process models by extracting decision rules and modeling them in separate diagrams. Likewise, Corticon Business Rules Management users will be able to utilize the power of ARIS to design, implement and execute business processes.
