Empowering our Partners
The Corticon Partner Training program is designed to help our partners develop valuable expertise in delivering and supporting business decisions using rules inside and/or alongside your solutions.
Training courses have been designed to give you the expertise you need to develop, maintain and extend Corticon Applications.
Partner Training
For our partners, we have especially designed a 3-day course, including hands-on experience and exercises with the Corticon Business Rules Modeling Studio & Corticon Server:
- Rules modeling, which emphasizes proper and efficient use of Corticon Business Rules Modeling Studio ensures that you and/or your pre-sales technical team, implementers, consultants, business analysts, and others have the skills to model, analyze, and test rules and decisions.
- Rules deployment, which provides the necessary foundation to install, deploy, integrate, invoke, and troubleshoot the Corticon Business Rules Server as a Web Services server.
In addition to providing hands-on product experience, the course leverages the experience of Corticon experts, offering real-life examples and key insights on how to solve the most complicated business challenges. This training course has been designed to help our partner community successfully become CorticonCertified.
Course Objectives
- Review Corticon Product Suite and its features and concepts
- Understand the Corticon Rule Management Lifecycle
- Become familiar with the Studio Rulesheet metaphor to model and organize business rules
- Master basic syntax of the Corticon Rule Language
- Practice how to use Tests to build business-level scenarios that test the rules
- Recognize types and patterns of rules and model them in Corticon Studio using the Rule Language
- Learn to use more complex concepts (Scope, Expressions, Filters ) in the construction of rules
- Identify and correct common logical problems in Rule Sets using Studio's analysis tools
- Tackle advanced capabilities of Studio's Tester facility for importing and exporting test cases
- Introduction to how Corticon works in an SOA (Web Services) environment
- Understand how to configure and deploy Rule Sets created in Studio to the Server
- Learn how to create and extract rule messages returned by the Server

- emphasizing proper and efficient use of rule sets while creating and managing business decisions

- creating product experts within your organizations who can get the most of Corticon and of combined solutions
- developing a loyal community of highly skilled certified professionals who recommend, sell, service, support and/or use Corticon products and solutions
