CHANNEL SALES MANAGER

City, California.
Position Summary
The Channel Sales Manager (CSM) is accountable for all activities
regarding the management and distribution of Corticon products through
the OEM and reseller channels in North America. He/she is responsible
for the go-to-market account strategy that includes enabling partners
to sell Corticon based solutions and providing the sell through support
necessary to drive downstream partner revenue that includes Corticon
as part of the partner's solution at the field level. The CSM is a
sales position requiring a strong work ethic and a high level of business
professionalism in this multi-channel sales environment. This field
position is based in the mid-west or eastern United States.
Specific Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the plan to enable partners and help them
sell Corticon based solutions to their end users.
- Communicate with, support and coach the partners' sales teams
to maximize mindshare, value and revenue.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrate Corticon products to partners
and their customers.
- Track all sales activity and contacts in company database and
reports.
- Manage and resolve sales channel conflicts within territory.
- Achieve assigned targets for number of channel partners and
revenue quotas.
Qualifications
To insure success, the Channel Sales Manager must have the following
experience, skills and qualities:
- Has high energy, a passion for software channel sales, and be
goal-oriented with a strong track record for software channel
sales success.
- Has a minimum of 7 years successful enterprise software sales
experience selling enterprise software solutions with a track
record of developing and closing sales opportunities both independently
and with/through partners.
- Has a minimum of 3 years successful software sales experience
initiating, developing and selling with software based channel
partners.
- A firm understanding and willingness to learn new technology.
- Possesses excellent communication skills, negotiation skills
and business professionalism.
- Has experience working in a fast paced growing company environment.
- Has sales experience selling enterprise software solutions in
banking, insurance, financial services, healthcare, telecommunications
or solutions such as Business Process Management, ERP, SCM, or
CRM.
- Has a bachelors degree or significant software sales experience.
- Has a track record of success meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Can travel up to 50% as this is a field based position.
The Channel Sales Manager is a full time position offering a performance
based compensation plan with a competitive base salary, along with
participation in company stock option and medical plans.
